Admission Rules:

  1. Admission forms are received for admission in 1st year and 3rd year within fifteen days after the result declaration of SSC and HSSC examinations .From the sixteenth day the admissions are started and the process is completed within in a week.
  2. Admissions are granted according to Educational Policy of the Government.
  3. Age limit for admission in first year is 19 years and for admission in third year it is 21 years.
  4. Students are admitted on the basis of merit. Candidates with E grade in the SSC and HSSC exam are not eligible for admission in the college.
  5. Candidates who clear their papers in the supplementary exam will have to apply for the next session.
  6. For promotion to Fourth year at least two papers of Third year must be cleared.
  7. Candidates who have passed their exam from other boards/Universities have to submit Migration Certificate with their forms.
  8. Candidates whose particulars/data was found wrong or he remained absent from classes in the first week of the academic year his/her admission will be cancelled.
  9. When a student is struck off within fifteen days he has to produce a reasonable cause for his long absence and has to submit Rs. 150 as Readmission fee.

This concession is given only once and for all.

  1. Admission form with prospectus can be received from admission office of the college in working hours or can be downloaded from ___________________________________.
  2. Admission forms must be filled neatly and the following credentials must be attached, in case of online admission the filled form can be downloaded.

For First Year:

  1. 2 Xerox copies of DMC/Provisional Certificate.
  2. 2 Xerox copies of Domicile Certificate.
  3. Photo copy of Character Certificate.
  4. 3 Passport size recent photographs.
  5. Affidavit ( After the admission)

For Admission in Third Year:

*According to the affidavit proposed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan a candidate has to solemnly declare that he/she will not participate actively in politics. He/She will have to abstain from rioting. A candidate who break this rule will be rusticated from college roll and the action cannot challenged in any court except in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

12. Admissions forms with afore mentioned documents will be handed over to the Admission Committee. After Checking the documents the admission Committee will display the name list of selected candidates on the college Notice Board. The Selected candidates have to appear on the appointed date and time before the admission committee with the original documents. They have to submit all the dues in whole. In case of absence from interview or failing in submitting dues, the selection for admission will be considered cancelled. Their names will be replaced from the waiting list.

Re-admission Rules:

  1. A student who willfully remains absent for six consecutive days he will be rusticated from college roll and will be given one chance of readmission.
  2. A student is given only 15 days for readmission.
  3. On the occasion of readmission the parents/ guardian of the student will be formally informed.
  4. Struck off case ensued by long absence on readmission the student has to solemnly declare that he/she will attend his/her classes regularly or he/she will abstain from repeating the practice and that he/she will not be eligible for further readmission.

*Information and queries can be obtained from college office during college hours.

1. A student can change his subject/subjects within one month after the commencement of classes. For the purpose notice will be displayed on the notice board. A student cannot change his subject/ subjects after the appointed time.

2. Attendance in the previous subject will not be counted in the new subject.

3. The student has to complete the required attendance in the new subject:

College Dues/Fees:

  1. All the dues for the academic session must be deposited at the time of admission.
  2. Late students will also have to deposit full fees.
  3. In case of failing to deposit his dues a student can be stuck off from college roll and can be barred from board/university examination.
  4. Passed students of First year and Third year are supposed to deposit their dues of Second year and Fourth year within one month, otherwise the student would not be allowed to the classes.

Detail of Fines:

  1. Daily absence fine Rs. 2.
  2. Fine for absence per period Re. 1.
  3. Fine for absence from science practical Rs. 5.
  4. Fine for non compliance of college uniform Rs. 10.
  5. Fine for not keeping College Identity Card Rs. 5.

Note: Disciplinary fine can be imposed according to the nature of violation of a regulation.

All official deposits will be considered as true and genuine when the depositors have formally issued receipts.

Attendance:

  1. Every student is supposed to completed 75% attendance from the commencement of the academic year till 14 days prior to the examinations, otherwise their examinations forms will be held suspended. Furthermore such students will not be entitled for any kind of scholarship.
  2. To ensure the attendance of the students, daily attendance will be called and attendance count will be recorded in the attendance register.
  3. Attendance registers will be regularly checked by an appointed staff member.
  4. Absence lists will be prepared daily and sent to the clerk office.
  5. Every month absence fine lists will be displayed on the notice board.
  6. A student who remains willfully absent for 6 days from classes or remains absent for 3 days from practicals, will be struck off from college.
  7. A student who got struck off due to long absence or other reason, on his application for readmission the concerned professor has to write the student’s attendance detail or the nature of his violation.

Leave Procedure:

  1. If due to inevitable reason a student need up to 3 days leave he will have to write application on a plain paper duly signed from his tutor and must be submitted with the concerned clerk.
  2. If a student requires up to 5 days leave, the application must be signed from the Chief Tutor.
  3. When the application is formally accepted the student is not fined for absence anyhow shortage in his attendance may occur for which the student can be held responsible.

College Identity Card:

After the admission a student is issued an IC for the academic year. The student is supposed to put on his IC in the college premises, otherwise he can be fined Rs. 5. At the end of the academic year or in case of migration to other institution or discontinuity of studies, the student has to deposit the IC in the office of the Chief Proctor. During the year if the IC is lost or damaged it can be replaced after imposing fine on the student.

Proctorial Board:

For the smooth running of the college and to maintain discipline in the college a proctorial board is working under the auspices of an experienced staff member. The head of the Proctorial Board is called Chief Proctor. A crew of staff proctors and Proctorial Monitors are selected for the assistance of the Chief Proctor. Proctorial Monitors are selected from the students with good moral background with additional qualities of vigilance, agility, initiative and creativity.

It is the duty of all the students to cooperate with the Proctorial Board for the maintenance of discipline and a peaceful environment in the college.

College Council:

A council of senior staff members has been established to discuss and solve important issues of the college. The decision of the college council is considered as final and cannot be challenged.

Class Tests/Examinations:

To train the students in examinations and to enhance the passing percentage, the college arranges tests from time to time. The procedure will be as follows:

  1. Monthly tests will be given at the end of the month.
  2. Monthly test are given in the class and the duration of such test is 40 minutes.
  3. For class tests the students have to arrange the answer sheets for themselves.
  4. Tests result will be announce in the class.
  5. After every three months examinations are arranged that are termed as Terminal Exam.
  6. Terminal Exams will be arranged in the College Hall or any open place.
  7. For Terminal Exams the paper duration will be 2 hours.
  8. For these examinations the printed questions papers answer sheets will be provided from the college side.
  9. Date sheet and results of these examinations will be properly notified on the college notice board.
  10. Students who willfully remain absent from these tests/examinations will be fined by the college administration.
  11. Performance in these tests/examinations will be properly recorded.
  12. Students who remain absent from college exams will also be barred from Board/University examinations.

Library:

College Library contains thousands of books on literature, science, religion and general knowledge. There are a great number of national and international magazines in the study room of the library. The students are provided their selected books from the library.

Library Rules:

  1. Stealing books, transferring a book from one shelf to another and making noise in the library is strictly prohibited.
  2. A student is not issued more than two books at a time. The books are issued only for 14 days. In case of failing to return the books within fourteen days, a fine of Re. 1 is imposed per day.
  3. Reference books are not issued these can be read and consulted in the reading room.
  4. An issued book can be Re issued to the same student if it is not needed to another student.

Sports:

This institution has achieved great prominence in the field of sports. The college has enough and proper facilities for sports and there are suitable arrangements for professional training of the players. The teaching staff is made in-charge of different games, who strives their best to enhance the performance of the players in their fields. Training is given in the evening in the college grounds. Matches are held are held with teams from other colleges. The college teams are also sent for District, Divisional and Provincial level competitions.

Social Work:

For the students of Fourth year it is obligatory to do social work for at least 3 weeks. Streets, bazaars, sewerages and drains will be cleaned and repaired. Plantation and adult education projects are also initiated and completed under social work. Social work is carried out under the supervision of a member from the teaching staff. The students are awarded certificates after the successful completion of the project.

Guidance Groups:

To solve the problems of the students, to awake hidden potentialities of the students, to inculcate confidence and to prepare them for the responsibilities in future, the students are divided into groups. The staff members are made their in-charge. The groups are called Guidance Groups or Tutorial Groups. The chief organizer of the system is called Chief Tutor. Guidance period is arranged once in a week. In this period the students present poems, speeches, jokes etc. Quiz and other educational and entertainment programmes are also arranged.

College Magazine:

To give a vent to the creative, research and literary potentialities of the students, the college magazine “ Malakand “ is published. In this magazine the literary works of the students and teachers are published in Pashto, Urdu and English languages.

Literary Society:

To create sublimity in speech and writings of the students and to prepare the students for a bright future, through educational, entertainment and informative programmes, a literary society by the name of “ Bazm-e-Fikro fun” has been established.

The “Bazm-e-Fikro fun” arranges programmes according to the demand of the occasion under the supervision of a staff member.

Red Crescent Society:

A branch of the Red Crescent Society “ Red Crescent Society Youth Wing” has been established in the college. The society works for the rehabilitation of the victims of natural disasters. Through their programmes they awake awareness of Selfless Service to humanity.

Environmental Protection Society:

To keep the environment clean, an organization “ Society for the Protection of Environment” has been established. Every year they carry out plantation progammes. They also arranges Walks and Seminars on environment.

Blood Donations:

A blood donor organization has been working for a long time in the college. The organization donate blood to needy and critical patients and thus fulfill the grand mission of serving the humanity.

The names of the volunteers with their addresses, Phone Nos and blood groups are written down in the register of the organization. The names of the volunteers who donate blood to the needy patients are displayed on the college notice board.

The volunteers are given appreciation certificates and their names are published in the college magazine.

First Aid:

During college hours if a student or a staff member gets hurt or met an accident or faces some other medical problem, he is provided first aid. In the department of Chemistry the essential medicines and bandages are available. This first aid centre is operated by a skilled member of the staff.

Scholarships:

The college students are given scholarships from Fauji Foundation, Secondary Board and Director of Education. They are also issued MORA scholarship from local Zakat Chairman. A student can get only one scholarship at a time.

College Transport:

  1. College transport can be used only for those tour programmes which are properly sanctioned by the college.
  2. Only college driver will drive the college vehicles.
  3. Only the regular students can take the vehicles for a tour and the presence of a member of the teaching staff in such a tour is obligatory.
  4. Prior to departure on a tour the students have to produce a written permission from their parents.
  5. The detailed list of such tourists must be provided to the college administration and a copy will be given to the in-charge of the tour.
  6. It is obligatory for the students who want to take the college transport for a tour, to produce an affidavit on a stamp paper, connoting that the vehicle will not be used for any illegal purpose, they will be held responsible for any kind of damage to the vehicle, they will behave decently with the driver, conductor and tour in-charge, and that they will cooperate fully.

This stamp paper must be signed by all the students and must be registered with Notary Public and Oath Commissioner.

  1. No student can take any fire arm or other illegal article with them.
  2. S. Nos and addresses of the students will be marked on the luggage of the students.
  3. The journey will take its start from college premises.
  4. The tour in-charge, driver and conductor has the right to search the luggage of the students.
  5. The students have to pay the Daily Allowance (DA) of the In-charge, driver and conductor before the departure on a tour.
  6. Getting on or off the vehicle is not allowed on way.
  7. According to the pre-planned programme the vehicle will take stops.
  8. During checking by police or other law enforcement institution on the way, if a student is found with anything illegal, such a student will be dropped on the spot, will be heavily fined and his security will be forfeited and will be struck off from college roll will not be readmitted.
  9. In case of breakdown of the vehicle, the students are supposed to pay for the expenses of repair.
  10. College transport is not allowed for any tour from 1st October to 23rd December.

Prize Distribution Ceremony:

To appreciate the talented and hardworking students of the college, every year a prize distribution ceremony is held. Students who show excellence in education, sports and literary activities are awarded with gifts, cash prizes and appreciation certificates.

College Regulations:

The aim of the educational institution is the overall development of the student. The college is not only the centre of learning but is the centre of development and growth. Character building must be the aim before the administration and the students. He must be an epitome of good behavior to society. So character building is the sole aim of college community.

The students are requested to abide by the rules enumerated below:

  1. They must reach the college in time and must take their classes regularly.
  2. They must give attention to their studies and should not waste their time in unhealthy activities.
  3. To resolve their problems they must resort to peaceful means and avoid deteriorating the educational environment.
  4. No fire arms are allowed in the college premises.
  5. The students must abstain from rioting.
  6. Vandalism is strictly prohibited.
  7. The students must contribute to a clean and tidy environment.
  8. The students should not use the lawns and playgrounds as Pathways, they should not pluck flowers and avoid Wall Chalking.
  9. Use of narcotics is strictly prohibited.
  10. The students are advised not to have any relationship with a dubious character or to bring him into the college.
  11. The taps must not be left running and electricity should be used economically.
  12. Playing music, hearing loud music or rioting in college must be avoided.
  13. Speeches or statements based on religious bias, sectarianism and political differences must be avoided.
  14. Along with studies the students the students must take part in sports, literary and welfare activities.
  15. To keep a peaceful environment in the college the students must cooperate with the college administration.
