Introduction

ATTENDANCE:

Regular attendance of lectures, laboratory work, tutorial periods (manual work/guidance) is necessary.

Name of the students who remain absent from the classes for continuous 7 days without prior permission would be removed from the college roll.

66% of attendance for intermediate students and 75% for BS students is necessary to make them eligible for intermediate and degree examination respectively.

Irregularity in classes is punished by the fines at the rate fixed by the college council.

LEAVE RULES

1.A written application should be sent by the students or her parents/guardian well in time reporting her illness/reason of absence.

2.Sick leave for more than three days will be sanctioned only on the production of medical certificate.

3.Any kind of leave other than sick leave exceeding three days shall be granted when application is attested by the parents or guardian in case of a day scholar and by warden in case of boarders.

4.All kinds of leave up to three days may be granted by tutor concerned, up to seven days by the chief proctor and more than seven days by the principal on the recommendation of the chief proctor.

5.All kind of leaves, except sick leave and in case of demise of near relative, the student should proceed on leave when the leave has been sanctioned, otherwise they will be treated as absent without leave and continuous seven days absence will lead to the struck off her name from the college rolls.

6. In all cases leave taken will be at students own risk, so far as percentage of attendance is concerned medical certificate shall not be condone a deficiency in attendance.
