College History
Here in Jandool, there was a dire need of an educational institute to fulfill the thirst of education of the people of Dir(Lower) and specifically Jandool whcih is a large and vast area. This college was establish in 2006 with the efforts of Siraj Ul Haq who was member of provencial assembly that time. The name of the college was kept "GDC Samarbagh" because of the village Samarbagh which is a famouse village near the college. College was started as single teacher college or general degree college initially but in 2011 with the efforts of Principal Riaz Ahmad, BS program was started in two desciplines which is quite successful. With this short histry, college has produced and polish too many tallanted students who are serving in different departments. The dedicated and qualified staff is struggling hard to make the college one of the best college of the country.
