Admission Procedure and Rules

Introduction

All rules laid down in thein College website are ordained by the Government of KPK, Education Ministry via the Department of Education. They are liable to change from time to time.

Soon after the declaration of results , the admission process for the next class commences.

  • The followings are not eligible to apply:
    • Compart cases in Matric, Intermediate and degree.
    • Students who have passed supplementary in the same year.
    • Students residing in the area where a Higher Secondary School is present (for intermediate).
  • Candidate with E grade in intermediate will be considered for admission
  • In degree program Only after the permission of the University
  • 5% seats are allocated for sports.
  • 10% seats are kept by the Principal as meritorious for students who don’t turn up for admission on due date.
  • Application for admission must be submitted on the prescribed forms attached in the college prospectus within 10 days of the declaration of the result by the Board or University.

DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST

  • Attested copy of provisional / character certificate from school/ college last attended.
  • Domicile.
  • Attested copies of Detail Mark Certificate. (DMC)
  • Copy of father / guardian national ID card (NIC).
  • Migration certificate in original of candidates who have passed Matric F.A / F.Sc / B.Sc from another board or university.
  • An undertaking that the students has not taken admission elsewhere if a year or more has lapsed after Matric or Intermediate or Degree.
  • Service certificate of parents if admission in sought on the basis of being
  • Domiciled in District Haripur due to service.
  • 4 photographs (1.5 * 1.5 inches size with white background) application
  • forms after due date will not be entertained.
  • Age limit for admission
    • 1st year 19 Years
    • 3rd year 25 Years
    • B.S (4 years program) 25 Years
  • Age to be determined from date of birth to the last date for the submission of admission form.
  • Student will be considered for admission after the approval of age relaxation by the Board / University as the case may be.
  • The serial no. of the application forms will be entered in a register as a reference for any further actions.
  • An application not registered will not be entertained.
  • Candidate seeking admission in more than one program / discipline will have to apply on separate forms.
  • Students bearing domicile of Haripur will be preferred. Only candidate with A grade residing in other Districts will be entertained.
  • Once admitted the student cannot claim refund of the dues other than security.
  • Change of subject admissible within 20 days of admission.
  • In the broad interest of the College , the Principal is authorized to refuse or cancel the admission of any student without giving justification.
  • Admission will be Cancelled if:
    • Any information given by the student is found incorrect.
    • Failure to attend classes within a week after the commencement of classes.
    • Habitual agitator
  • Original documents must be brought at the time of admission.
  • Migration cases will be entertained as per rules laid down by the relevant Board / University.
  • Students are advised to clearly indicate the course of study applied for and the group of the subject chosen as mentioned in the prospectus.
  • The Principal is authorized to constitute an admission committee who will check and verify the entries made in the application form and recommend it for admission on the basis of merit only. If any information is found incorrect it will lead to cancellation of admission.
  • The Student who fall within the merit, will be called for an interview with the Principal or Admission Committee. All original documents must be brought at the time of interview.
  • A Student once must abide by all the rules and regulations of the college regarding attendance, exam, uniform, and discipline of the college and other rules.
  • Any change in Admission rules made by the Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa wherever received, will be applicable form that session onwards.
  • Students are not allowed to enter in the staffroom, any office and even labs in the absence of lab Assistants.
  • Students are strictly prohibited to keep mobile in their possessing during the college hours.
