Introduction of College
Govt. Girls Degree College Mankarai, Haripur started its journey in December 2010 when construction work started but the classes were held in a rented building. Formally college started functioning in 2012 and was inaugurated by Qazi Muhammad Asad, Minister of Education.
The beautiful college building and extended area consists of 60 kanals. This college has the largest ground in the District for conducting different sports activities. This grand building also includes Science laboratories and a Hostel.
For conducting examination the college is affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Abbottabad and with the University of Haripur at Inter and Graduate levels respectively .
In order to polish the abilities of students and to promote a higher level of education the most competent and hardworking teaching staff is made available.
