Introduction

Welcome to Govt.Girls Degree College Gulshan Rehman Peshawar.It gives me an immense pleasure to pen a few words as prologue to our college magazine Gulshan exclusively meant to reveal the potentialities and writing talents of students as well as the teachers. I presume that our whole hearted attempt to ignite the spark of creativity in the students has been fruitful. This effort was really like a key to unleash their creativity. Dear students empowerment of students through education is our cherished motto. Today education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is the acquisition of knowledge and skills, building character and improving employability of our young talent, the future leadership. The importance of education of education in today world is such that it cannot be ignored. For this reason the whole staff of our college is working hard each day to equip its students with appropriate knowledge, attitudes and values leading towards their personal development and critical thinking. To make our youth more efficient, steps are being taken to change our educational setup. We believe in striving for change through education and for this steps has been taken by the implementation of associate degree program in this college which will polish, enhanced and improve the personal and cognitive skills of the students and will make them better human being, rational thinkers, law abiding citizens and spiritually enlightened individuals. Remember that discipline and hard work is the key to success. Be regular in your classes and focus on your goals.
