Introduction

ADMISSION RULES

1) Admission starts on the date announced by the admission committee and continues according to the schedule of BISE/ University of Peshawar.

2) Late admission cases are deal with strictly in accordance with the BISE/University rules or until such a date is fixed by the principal.

3) The seats are filled on the basis of merit.

4) Only those candidates are eligible for admission that has passed their last annual or preceding supplementary examination of the board.

5) Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects are not allowed to take admission in the part I of any class.

6) Candidates place in “E” grade in S.S.C or securing 3rd division in the intermediate level or not allowed to take admission in the inter and degree classes, respectively.

7) Candidate passing in the succeeding supplementary examination shall not be elegible for admission in the same academic year.

8) Candidates who are the residence of the area are given preference other candidate having genuine reason such as residence/ service of parents in the area when vacant seats exists in the college are also elegible for admission on merit basis. In addition 10 % quota is reserved for candidates of other areas who have passed their S.S.C. /Inter of examination in A-1 or A Grade.

9) Candidates who have passed their SSC Examination from schools in district Peshawar are also eligible for admission.

10) Candidates belonging to boards other than BISE Peshawar or to product migration certificate along with their admission forms.

11) Cases of the Candidates including in any gross misconduct, political, illegal or criminal activities during therir school or college period shall no be considered for admission at all. The student, whose character during the intermediate (Part-I or Part- II) and Part-I of Degree classes was found unsatisfactory, shall not be given admission in the part-II of intermediate and Part-I or Part-II of the Degree Classes.

12) Candidates are required to produce an affidavit (copy enclosed) as an undertaking typed on stamp paper and duly attested by the competent authority at the time of interview for admission.

13) Admission form will be considered for any other faculty or category except for which it has been printed and filled in by the candidate.

14) All foreigner students desirous of admission have to route their forms through the Ministry of Education Islamabad.

15) The following must be attached with the admission forms. a) Attested copy of D.M.C. (SSC / Intermediate). b) Attested copy of Character Certificate issued by the Head of the Education institution last attended. For Private Students Character Certificate must be signed by a Class-1 gazetted officer. c) Attested copy of Domicile Certificate. (Can be produced at the time of admission) d) Attested Copy of Provisional Certificate. (School / College) e) 6 colored photographs

16) If a student applies for late admission, she has to produce an affidavit that she has not admitted to any college previously and that she is availing the opportunity of admission for the first time. However, such cases shall be processed according to the rules.

17) Hafiz-e-Quran will be awarded 20 extra marks.

18) The candidate late in submission of their application forms i.e with in the given dates or failing to appear for interview/ test on the notified date shall not claim any right for admission, etc. Individual catering is not possible for the college.

19) In all cases where these regulations are silent or where there is difference of opinion about their interpretation, the decision of the principal shall be final.

20) If a student applies for admission one or more years late then she shall produce an affidavit to the effect that She has not been admitted at any college previously and she is availing the opportunity for admission for the first time.

21) Application which is not registered within due dates whether online or manually shall not be considered for admission.

22) Five marks per year or Session shall be deducted from the obtained marks of a candidate who has passed the last examination in the previous year(s)/Session(s). However no such deduction shall be made from a candidate who has passed the last examination in the supplementary session of the immediate preceding year. Such procedure shall be limited for the candidates who failed to get the admission during the previous three consecutive years/ sessions. Candidates who se passing year of the last examination is more than three years back shall not be put on the merit list however if vacant seats exists after absorbtion of all the candidates on the merit list the such candidates may be provided the opportunity of admission on merit.

23) Merit list of sports quota for the games the facility for which is available in the college shall be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in sports.

24) Students admitted on sports basis shall be required to submit an undertaking that they will actively participate in the college sports team, failing which their admission shall stand cancelled.

25) There is no upper age limit for female candidates except under sports quota.
