College History
GCMS is located in the panoramic location of Thana, District Malakand. The college is affiliated with KPK Board of Technical Education, BISE Malakand and University of Malakand. It was established in 1971 as a Commercial Training Centre for the public benefit. In 1975 the centre was raised to the status of Inter College and it was named as Commercial Institute. The college got degree level status in 1981. The College was crossing the steps of progress in regular intervals by obtaining B.Com (Hons) and M.Com Degree level. The name of the college was change in 2005 from Govt Commerce College to GCMS Thana Malakand.
