Admission Procedure

Introduction

Admission in the college will be offered in accordance with rules and regulations framed by the Higher Education Department, Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Admission forms to intermediate (P-1) and Degree (P-1) will be issued the ten days after the declaration of results of SSC and Inter P-2nd.The admission committee will intimate last date for submission of admission forms and date for interview and admission. The admission committee, after thorough scrutiny and verification will provide provisional admission to the candidates; purely on merit basis. The admission will not mean any commitment till it is confirmed and registered by the Board/University.

Double Registration:

In case of double registration, the responsibility or penalty for the breach of rules will be on the candidate.

Admission Rules:

› Admission starts on the dates announced by the admission committee appointed

by the principal and continuous according to the schedule of BISE Mardan/

University of Swabi.

› Those candidates are eligible for admission who have passed their last annual or

preceding supply exam in all subjects.

› Candidates passing in succeeding supply exam shall not be eligible for admission in

that academic year.

› Candidates placed in (E) grade in SSC or Securing 3rd division in the inter level

are not allowed to take admission in the Inter (P-1) and third year, respectively.

› Candidates who are residents of the area are given preference. Other candidates

having genuine reasons such as residence/service of parents in the area or when

vacant seats exist in the college or they have “A1” or “A” grade.

› Candidates belonging to boards other than BISE Mardan will have to produce

their Original Migration Certificates along with their admission form.

› Provision of Original Migration Certificate from Board to university is must for

the candidate who wants admission in 3rd year.

› If a candidate applies for late admission, he has to produce a certificate from

the concerned Board that he has not been admitted to any college previously and

that he is availing the opportunity of admission for the 1st time.

› Hafiz-e-Quran will be awarded 20 extra marks for admission purposes, for which

they will be interviewed.

› The upper age limit at the time of admission is 19 years for 1st year and 22 years

for 3rd year. However the age limit does not apply to persons who have served in

Govt departments and have obtained proper leave.

› Cases of the candidates found indulged in any grass misconduct, political, illegal or

criminal activities during their school or college period shall not be considered for

admission at all.

› The students whose character during 1st year and 3rd year was not found

satisfactory shall not be given admission in 2nd year and 4th year respectively.

› Afghan Refugees and all foreign students desirous for admission have to rout

their forms through Proper Channels.

› The candidates late in submission of their admission forms failing to appear for

interview on the notified date shall not claim any right for admission.

› The following must be attached with the admission form:-

a) Attested copies of DMC,

b) Character & Domicile Certificate,

c) NIC of Parents,

d) 04 Photographs (size 1x1)

e) Undertaking (under the Supreme Court Verdict) relating to Non-Indulgence in politics, typed on the stamp paper duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate.
