Dir Lower. Maidan is a percian word which means a large area of plain and flat land. The terrain of Maidan lies in the midst of lush green, verdant and verdurous hills with delightful, enchanting, entrancing, fetching, fascinating, captivating, enthralling and winsome vistas. It is, therefore, called Maidan owing to its bizarre and distinctive topographic features. The panoramic view has further beautified this great Alma mater. The college is surrounded by hills of serpentine beauty with splashy cascades and cataracts, grassy patches, tranquil rivulets, appetizing, refreshing and bracing springs and spaced tall trees. The College is located 20 Kms towards the North of Timergara, the head quarter of Dir Lower. It has the region of Jandol to its west, the belt of Sultan Khail and Painda Khail to its East whereas Barawal zone and Tehsil Balambat are located to its North and South respectively.&amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
