Welcome to Government Abdul Ali Khan Degree College Charsadda

  Brief Introduction:

The college has been given the name of a prominent educationist, Ex-Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar, Principal Aitcheson College Lahore and Principal of the Fazle-Haq College Mardan-, the Late Abdul Ali Khan (1922-1997).

Regular academic activities were commenced in the college on September -2013 in the unoccupied hostels of Govt Post Graduate College Charsadda. These Academic activities will be kept continued in these two hostels till a permanent building of its own is built.

Here it is worthy to be mentioned that usually building for a college is constructed first before the commencement of classes but it is through sheer blessings of Allah that the classes get started in Govt Abdul Ali Khan Degree College without its own building.

No doubt, the credit goes to the Chief Planning Officer (CPO) of that time Prof. Raza Shah. It was because of his personal interest and indefatigable efforts that academic activities get started before the construction of the college building. In the very first session of the college, more than 600 students got admission in first and third year. The number of students is now reached to more than 1100.
