Introduction

I feel gratitude and honor to be the founding Principal of Government Degree College Khwaza Khela Swat. Alhamudulilah, after the successful completion of our first academic session we are going to start the second academic session 2018-19.

Swat has remained the centre of education since long and despit many challenges and all odds, even during the dark era when militants dominated the valley, students both boys and girls managed to continue their education. In future, I am sure that this college will be a source of enlightening the students of the area with the brightness of education.

I believe that if we want to have a balanced, tolerant, democratic and developed society, masses must be provided with equal opportunities in every field of life, particularly in the field of education. If we make higher education available, accessible and affordable for our talented youth, it will lead to the foundation of a vibrant and emergent society enabling us to stand among the comity of developed and leading nations. To me, quality and purposful education is the only means that can ferrey us safely from our present plights and can lead us into a stable, successful and prosperous future.
