Govt Girls Degree College Barikot,Swat

<p><p><p>GGDC Barikot was established in 2006 by the government to provide easy and quality education to the people in the jurisdiction of barikot at their door step.Its old campus was adjacent to GGHS Barikot.Due to insufficient space a new building was built which is located in a pleasent area of Barikot.The new campus was built in 2012 with the assistance of UAE.The existing college campus is Spread over a large area.It is two storey building which houses an Administrative block,Science laboratories,Lecture rooms,Library ,hall and BS block.Science labs are well equipped with all th necessary equipments.The computer lab is equipped with latest version of computers.The college library has a huge collection of books and a wide reading section where students can read books in a good environment.There is a spacious exam hall having a capacity for more than 300 students.The hall is also suitable for carrying out co-curricular activities. The present administration is trying to improve quality of education by taking different steps and also trying to provide all possible facilities to the students for their better future.Keep in mind the requirements of the area three departments(Englis urdu ,Botany) in BS are also introduced in the college.</p></p></p>
