Govt. Degree College Sam, South Waziristan

Nestled in the scenic hills of Karwan and Asman Manza in Tehsil Ladha, South Waziristan, the picturesque town of Kaniguram/Sam stands as a symbol of both natural beauty and historical significance. Known as the birthplace of the 16th-century scholar Pir Roshan, the town lies 111 km from Tank, 153 km from Bannu, and 58 km from Wana, at an elevation of 2042 meters. Government Degree College Sam was established in 2004 and regularized in 2006. Despite challenges due to the law-and-order situation and the Rah-e-Nijat operation, the college has produced hundreds of graduates. While the main campus is still under construction, academic activities continue with commitment and resilience. We remain hopeful for its early completion and full functioning.
