A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE
Chitral remained comparatively backward in the present era of Scienfific, Industrial and Commercial development. To put Chitral in par with the other district of the country, besides other educational institutions the establishment of commercial /Business Institution was greatly felt by the inhabitants of the area. Taking into consideration this just demand of the public, the government setup a Commercial Taining Institute here in July, 1977. I 1983 the College was upgraded to Degree level and affiliated with University of Peshawar. Later on to provide quality education to the students up to Master level at their doorstep the college was upgraded to Postgraduate level in 1994. Taking a big leap forward toward the development of the area the college initiated BBA (Hons) four years courses in the academic Session 2008-9 and after the completion of BBA four years course MBA classes will also be started. From the Academic Session 2010-11, the college is offering DIT (Diploma in Information Technology) classes as well.
