Introduction

INTRODUCTION

Garhi Kapura is a town to the east of Mardan at a distance of about 8 KMs .It is an old village straddling on both sides of a channel of water with nothing known when the same town was established. Standing on the top of the bridge one can see the whole of the captivating panorama around one self-stretched up to the horizons as stated by words worth in his sonnets composed upon west minister saying dull would be of soul who could pass by \a sight so touching in its majesty .The village of Garhi Kapura is surrounded by lush green fields with different variety of plants and trees with the peasants consistently occupied in the same fecund fertile well irrigated fields producing a lot helping in boosting the economy of the country. The dwellers of the village belong to different cross section of society engaged in different professions working with zeal and fervour leading respectable life according to the tenets of Islam and the golden traditions of this area .The ratio of male and female education as compared to the rest of the villages in the neighbourhood .The people of the village are laborious austere gentle civilised and hospitable keenly interested to acquire knowledge and to improve their standard of life.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Pre Medical , Pre Engineering Computer Science & Inter Sciences

Passed SSC with At least 50% Marks

  1. Humanities SSC 45 % Marks
  2. Students who have passed their SSC in E Grade are not eligible for admission in any faculty.
  3. Maximum Age Limit is 19 Years on the last date of submission of admission form.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Admission for complete in all respect.
  2. DMC ( 2 Copies Attested)
  3. Character Certificate ( 1 Copy Attested)
  4. Domicile (1 Copy Attested)
  5. 4 Photos with white background ( 2=1x1, 2= Passport size only one attested face side)
  6. Original Migration Certificate in case of Passing SSC from other than BISE Mardan
  7. Father/ Guardian CNIC (1 Copy attested)
  8. Bond attested from Oath Commissioner on stamp Paper
  9. Hfiz I Quran Certificate in case of its completion

Note: 20 extra marks will be given to Hafiz-ul-Quran candidates seeking admission to 1st year and 3rd year Classes.

Degree Level (BA)

English Compulsory, Islamic Education Compulsory, Pak Study Compulsory and one of the following combinations.

  1. Islamic Study, Law
  2. Statistics, Economics

Eligibility:

  1. For admission to 3rd year at least 45% Marks in intermediate.
  2. Students who have passed their intermediate Examination in 3rd division are not eligible for admission.
  3. Maximum Age Limit is 22 years on the last date of submission of admission form.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. Every Student should observe all religious obligation.
  2. Every Student should remain faithful to Pakistan and Ideology of Pakistan.
  3. Every Student should develop cleanliness in habits and Civility In Dealings.
  4. Every Student should pursue her studies whole heartedly
  5. Every student should respect and obey her teachers.
  6. Use of badges, banners, posters and wall chalking inside the college is prohibited.
  7. Students are not allowed to invite any political leader in the college.
  8. Bringing/usage of fire arms and intoxicates are prohibited in the college.
  9. Disrupting the peaceful academic atmospheres of the college is punishable crime.
  10. The damage both to Govt. and individual property inside the college is considered a time.
  11. Use of megaphone, loudspeaker or electronic sound devices is prohibited.
  12. Smoking and use of drugs are prohibited.
  13. Students are not allowed to attend the college without uniform.
  14. Both audio and video use of cell during the class/college is prohibited.

COLLEGE UNIFORM

A neat and clean uniform is the identity of a student, therefore the following uniform is compulsory for all sudents.

  1. Winter Uniform

White Qamees, Shalwar, navy blue coat and black Shoes in case of severe cold blue sweater can also be used.

  1. Summer Uniform

White Qamees, Shalwar and black Shoes.

College Identity card

The chief proctor issues identity card to every student of the college. The student must ensure the possession of this card during her stay in the college. In case of loss ir damage, a new card is issued in payment of Rs. 50/.

Change of Subjects

Change of subjects is allowed in arts subjects only within thirty days.

Class attendance

  1. 80% attendance is compulsory for all the students of the college; otherwise their examination forms of board/ university will be withdrawn.
  2. Student absent for six consecutive days without permission is to be struck off immediately from the college roll.

Re-Admission

A struck off student can apply for re-admission within seven days of her removal from the college roll provide that the concerned teacher shows her consent to the re admission a student once failed is not re admitted to the same class,

Fee Concession / Scholarships

Deserving students up to 10% of the total strength of the class are given fee concession.

MORA Scholarships and “working welfare Board “scholarships are also given to deserving students.

College Council

This council consists of senior faculty members of the college.

Chief Proctor in charge students affairs and controller of examination. The college council assists the Principal in important academic and administrative matters.
