The Intermediate in Arts (FA) program is a two-year intermediate qualification designed for students interested in pursuing careers in social sciences, humanities, and creative fields. This program provides a broad understanding of arts and humanities subjects, allowing students to select combinations based on their interests and future career goals, such as Psychology, Fine Arts, Education, Sociology, Political Science, and Literature. Core / Elective Subjects (Choose Combination): Economics Civics Psychology Sociology Education Fine Arts Islamic Studies (as elective) Other humanities subjects (as per BISE offerings) Compulsory Subjects: English Urdu / Pakistan Studies Islamic Studies / Ethics Program Objectives: Provide foundational knowledge in social sciences and humanities. Develop critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. Prepare students for higher education in disciplines like Law, Education, Journalism, CSS, and other social sciences.
