Govt. Degree College Jamrud, Khyber

<p>&lt;p&gt;The dire need for a standard education institution for the historical area of tehsil Jamrud was felt intensely for a long. This dream came like joyous daybreak when the college was started on the project in 2005. Although the college had very meager resources to start academic activities at that time, yet academic year was started despite many difficulties and insufficiencies. since its inception, the college has been playing a significant role in the spreading of quality education. The thorny journey continued even in the hard times of 2009-2013, the hype period of terrorist activities. After managing it successfully, the college was given regular status in 2012. The college building was sprawling over an area of 56.5 canals with various departments for different disciplines. The college has a huge auditorium in which regular program/functions for recitation competitions, debates, seminars on socio-political problems, and stage dramas are held as grooming co-curricular activities.&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;amp;gt;&amp;amp;lt;/p&amp;amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
