Education plays a very basic role in molding a nation. Great care must be taken while imparting education to kids. A slight error and laxity in this regard may cause havoc. ___ a havoc which may throw a nation into such an abyss from which it will never find its way out.
We know that our modern world has become highly polarized ___ I mean ideologically. One section has gone completely materialistic, which has nothing to do with moral values. For them money is the only thing that matters. There is another section of people standing at the other extreme. They look upon man's activities belonging to two different catagories ___ worldly and spiritual. They renounce all that is worldly.Though they enjoy all the amenities of life and they aspire to assume world leadership also, yet they believe that these will come of their own. We should not waste time in these things. Consequently they don't approve of sending thier kids to schools, colleges and universities, where, they think, the focus is on Science and technology and other worldly activities. These conflicting approaches are in fact the very basis of dividing our society into two antagonistic Camps. Very often this finds expression in violent conflicts.Keeping this in view, GDC Puran has a vision before it ___ a vision of building a nation enlightened with the golden principles of Islam and equipped with modern sciences and technology, a nation which will be at peace with itself and with the world at large. Our vision is to turn out Muslim engineers, Muslim Doctors, Muslim professors and Muslim entrepreneurs and Muslim teachers etc, from this august institution of ours. Our vision is not only to groom our kids in modern sciences but also to acquaint them with the true spirit of Islam. We believe that our product will be a blessing not only for Muslims community alone, but for the whole humanity at large.
