The students in first year study total six subjects. The following three subjects are compulsory for the first year students:
English
Urdu
Islamic Education
In second year, students study Pakistan Studies replacing Islamic Education.
The three elective subjects are distributed in the following four categories. Any one of the subject groups from any category can be selected by the students. Students who passed SSC in humanity groups can not seek admission in Science groups.

NOTE: The above groups are offered subject to the availability of the teacher in the current year. The candidates must select the subject after confirming the availability of the teacher from the concerned clerk. In case of inappropriate subject selection the candidate himself will be responsible.
