Introduction

ADMISSION PROCEDURE Admission in the college will be made with strict adherence to the policy of merit and in accordance with the rules and regulations framed by the Education Department, Government of KPK Admission forms to the Intermediate and AD Part-I Classes will be issued just after the declaration of results by the BISE, Peshawar. The College Admission Committee will announce the last date for the submission of admission forms. Admission committee appointed by the principal will, after through scrutiny and verification, provide provisional admission to the candidates, which will not mean any commitment or entail any legal liability till it is confirmed and the registration by the Board/ University is completed. Unless a candidate is granted admission to the college, there is no need of producing affidavit, along with the admission form. It should be produced at the time of interview/ admission. ADMISSION RULES Admission starts on the date announced by the admission committee and continues according to the schedule of BISE/ University of Peshawar. Late admission cases are dealt with strictly in accordance with the BISE/ University rules or until such a date is fixed by the principal. 95% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit, and 5% on sports basis. Only those candidates are eligible for admission who have passed their last annual or preceding supplementary examination of the Board. Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects are not allowed to take admission in the part-I of any class. Candidates placed in E grade in S.S.C. or securing 3rd division in the Intermediate level are not allowed to take admission in the Inter and AD classes, respectively. The upper age limit at the time of admission is 19 years for 1st year the upper age limit, however, does not apply to persons with at least 2 years’ service in Government or Semi Government department Who have obtained proper leave from the heads of their department for the purpose. Candidate passing in the succeeding supplementary examination shall not be eligible for admission in the same academic year. Candidates who are residents of the area are giver preference. Other candidates having genuine reasons such as residence/ service of parents in the area or when vacant seats exist in the College, are also eligible for admission in merit basis. In addition 10% quota is reserved for candidates of other areas who have passed their S.S.C / Inter examination in A1 or grade. Candidates who have passed their S.S.C Examination form schools in District Peshawar are also eligible for admission. Candidate belonging to boards other than BISE Peshawar are to produce Migration Certificate along with their admission forms. Cases of the candidates indulging in any gross misconduct, political, illegal or criminal activities during their school or college period shall will not be considered for admission at all. The student, whose character during the Intermediate ( Part-I or Part & II) and Part I of Degree classes was found unsatisfactory, shall not be given admission in the Part-II of intermediate and Part-I or Part-II of the Degree Classes. Candidates are required to produce an affidavit (copy enclosed) as an undertaking typed on a stamp paper and duly attested by the competent authority at the time of interview for admission. All foreigner students desirous of admission have to route their forms through the Ministry of Education Islamabad. The following Documents must be attached with the Admission Forms Attested copy of D.M.C.(S.S.C./Intermediate) Attested copy of character Certificate issued by the Head of the Education institution last attended. For private students character certificate must be signed by a Class-I gazette officer. Attested copy of Domicile Certificate. (Can be produced at the time of admission) Attested copy of N.I.C of the Parent / Guardian. Attested copy of Provisional Certificate (School/ College) If a student applies for late admission, she has to produce an affidavit that she has not been admitted to any college previously and that she is availing the opportunity of admission for the first time. However, such cases shall will be processed according to the rules. Hafiz-e-Quran will be awarded 20 extra marks. The candidates late in submission of their application forms i.e. with in the given dates or failing to appear for interview / test on the notified date shall not claim any right for admission. It is the responsibility of the candidates to keep themselves informed of the date of interview, admission, etc. Individual catering is not possible for the college. In all cases where these regulation are silent or where there is difference of opinion about their interpretation, the decision of the Principal will be considered final. Admission Procedure for sports Seats Student seeking admission on sports basis may submit separate application forms. All the supporting documents and approved certificates must be attached with the application form. No certificate of sports etc will be entertained after the submission of application forms. In sports quota candidates with at least 2nd division are eligible for admission. Sports Quota is 5%. CHANGE OF SUBJECT Change of subject is allowed within the Humanities Group within 30 days of the inception of the course provided the selected combination is offered by the college and allowed by the College and allowed by the Board/ University.  Applications for change of discipline i.e. From (Pre- Medical to Pre-Engineering and vice versa) shall be entertained only form students admitted on Open Merit, provided the marks scored by the applicant in the relevant examination are not less than the lowest marks on which admission has been granted on open merit basis, in the discipline to which she wishes to university move. Such changes will be allowed subject the availability of seats before their names are not sent to the BISE / University for the purpose of registration. MIGRATION Migration is not allowed to from one college to another. However, children of government servants may be accommodated in case of transferred of parents to district Peshawar after the date at which admission was closed in this college, provide the marks scored by the applicant and the relevant examination are not less than the lowest marks on which admission has granted on open merit basis in the discipline to which she wishes to admit. No migration case will be entertained after 31st December. In case of admission, the student will have to produces original Board Migration Certificate within a week for migration, the following documents must be submitted: Prescribed application form, complete and all respects. Attested copy of the transfer order of the applicants parents. CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION Admission can be cancelled under the following circumstances: If any information, given by the student in her application form is found incorrect/ false at any stage her admission will stand cancelled. If a student fails to attend classes within a week of the start of the session or during the session for two weeks. If a student is found to be professional agitator or has been struck off from any educational institution on disciplinary grounds. If any misconduct or illegal activity is proved against her. If she is found involved in political activity. Application for cancellation of admission must be submitted within in the period specified, otherwise dues will not be refunded. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Acceptance of an application form for consideration does not necessary mean acceptance of a candidate for admission. Admission form containing incorrect or false information shall stand rejected even after a candidate has paid the admission fee. The college does not admit students casually in any class. No local migration is entertained. The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason. The security deposited shall stand lapsed in favor of the college after two months of declaration of final examination result. Transport Facility The institution provides transport facility to the students. The college has 01 safe and comfortable Hino bus. The students will be picked and dropped only at the specified stops. One month notice will be given to the students.
