Introduction

All glory be to Allah, the sustainer, the Merciful. Since its establishment in 1951, Government Post Graduate College, Bannu has contributed a lot to the development of the nation. There is hardly any field of services where alumni of this alma mater are not disseminating their talent. This college has successfully played its role in promoting education in the province and in the country.

Government Post Graduate College, Bannu is one of the biggest and most renowned institutions in the province. We feel proud to say that ours is the only college in the region that imparts quality education at all levels at costs which even the poorest can afford. The college administration has made it their mission to cultivate cordial relations not only with the students but also with their parents and elders of the society. It is for these reasons that an atmosphere of peace and goodwill is maintained in the college congenial to the students.

The college is running 4 Years BS Programs in 12 Departments: Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Political Science, Economics, HPE, English and Pak-Studied besides intermediate level Programs. More BS-4 Years Programs will be started in the college. About 5000 students are being taught in the college.
