COURSES FOR STUDIES OF THE COLLEGE

GDC Chakesar offers the following courses at Intermediate and Graduate Level.

A INTERMEDIATE

(a) Pre-Medical

English, Urdu, Biology, Physics, Chemistry,

Islamic Education (Part-I) and Pak. Studies (Part-II)

Eligibility: S.S.C. with Science (Minimum D grade).

(b) Pre-Engineering

English, Urdu, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry,

Islamic Education (Part-I) and Pak. Studies (Part-II)

Eligibility: S.S.C. with Science (Minimum D grade)

(c) General Science Group

Eligibility: S.S.C (Minimum D grade)

Besides English, Urdu, Islamic Education (Part-I) and

Pak. Studies (Part-II) which are compulsory subjects,

students can select one of the following sets:

1. Computer Science, Maths, Physics.
2. Computer Science, Maths, Statistics
3. Economics, Maths, Statistics

Note: SSC (Arts) can apply only for one of the last two combinations.

Humanities

Eligibility: S.S.C (Minimum D grade)

Besides English, Urdu, Islamic Education (Part-I) and Pak. Studies (Part-II) which are compulsory subjects, students can select one subject from each group.

Group A : Civics, HPE

Group B : History, Pashto /Arabic

Group C : Islamic Studies, Archaeology

Total Number of Seats in First Year

Regular Shift

Pre-medical = 150

Pre-engineering = 100

Arts = 200

Computer Science = 50

1. Admission to BA ( part-I)

In addition to two obligatory subjects, that is to say, (i) English (compulsory) and (ii) Islamic Education, students have to choose one from the following groups.

1. Group A: History, Political Science
2. Group B: Islamic Studies, Political Science
3. Group C: Islamic Studies, History
4. Group D: Islamic Studies, Pashto/Urdu/Arabic

1. Admission to BA (part-II)

Besides, (i) English compulsory) and (ii) Pakistan Studies as obligatory subjects, students have to continue with the group as their course of study they chose in BA part-I
