Government Girls Degree College, Khan Kohi is situated in Nizampur, District Nowshera. Nizampur consists of approximately 36 villages, the people of which are well known for their hospitality, patriotism and painstaking. Nizampur is famous due to Askari Cement Factory and reserves of iron ore. The need to establish a Government run educational institution for this under developed and ignored area of District Nowshera was felt intensively since long, which led to the establishment of this College at the Degree level in 2017. The college offers courses, both in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and the Humanities group. College engages the intelligence, imagination, and curiosity of its students, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives marked by high achievement, personal responsibility, and public contribution in a diverse society by focusing on islamic values & patriotism too. Our emphasis are also on national and interdisciplinary perspectives, the integration of knowledge with strong personal character of students, and close collaboration among peers, professors, and staff equips our students to approach the complex problems of the world ethically and thoughtfully.
