College History
Buner valley lies on the border of swat valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.It is a small mountanious valley and divided into four administrative sub divisions. the Elam range divide it from the swat valley.The district is divided into six tehsils one of them is called Daggar where GGDC Daggar is situated.
Before 2006 those stdents who were eager to get education had to stay in hostels of other cities .Some were deprived of the ornament of education because their parents hesitated to allow them to stay in the hostels of other districts.
GGD college Daggar was established in 2006 to cater the needs of female inhabitants of Buner.This college is the sole center of female education .It encourages and provide facilities for a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities.
The college building consists of administration block,main building stuents and teacher's hostel.
The science laborataries are fully equipped with the latest equipments.The college library consists of books in all branch es of knowledge and a number of new books have recently been added to meet the academic requirements of the tudents.
GGD college Daggr is affiliated with BISE saidu sharif swat for intermediate and with University of swat for Degree exams.
