BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE The foundation stone of Government Degree College Badaber, Peshawar, was laid in 1987, approximately 13 kilometres south of Peshawar (33.90 North Latitude and 71.55 East Longitude). Initially established to provide education at the Intermediate level, the College was upgraded to degree level in 1998. This significant development broadened its academic scope and enhanced access to higher education for students from Badaber and the surrounding areas. VISION OF THE COLLEGE The vision of the College is to provide quality education that nurtures intellectual growth and develops knowledge and skills. It is committed to build its students’ character and enable them to become responsible, competent and productive citizens of the country. MISSION OF THE COLLEGE The mission of the College is to impart quality education supported by well-equipped laboratories, a resourceful library and a conducive academic environment. The College is committed to promoting intellectual development, practical learning, aesthetic appreciation and physical well-being. Curricular and co-curricular activities are integrated with sports, well-maintained lawns and green spaces. It creates multiple opportunities for learning, creativity, recreation, and personal development. It also strives to nurture confident, skilled, disciplined, and responsible individuals who can contribute positively to society and the nation.
