Introduction

Resident students have to abide by the following rules:

1. Admission will be given once during the academic year.
2. Day scholars are not allowed to enter the hostel premises, other wise they will be fined and punished.

1. Students cannot stay in the hostel after termination of final examination.
2. Students have to make sure that their application is sanctioned before they leave the hostel. Submission of an application does not mean that leave has been granted.
3. Students can meet, visit or accompany only their real father, brother, paternal or maternal uncle or those whose name and photo copy of identity card is given by their parents /guardian in the hostel admission form along with authority letter.
4. Boarders are allowed to visit their homes once in a month on Saturday after college hours, or on certain holidays, after obtaining permission from the Warden and confirming it from the Principal. Over stay will automatically cancel the next home chance.
5. The electricity bills of the hostel will be evenly shared by the consumers/boarders, if it exceeds the normal bill.
6. Students must ensure that the lights and fans are switched off when the rooms are not occupied. Use of heaters, cookers and oil or gas stoves are not allowed in the rooms. In case of violation strict action will be taken against them.
7. Water taps have to be turned off after use.
8. Boarders are not allowed to keep money more than their use, jewellery or any other valuables. If there is any, students themselves will be responsible for their loss.
9. After college hours, no boarder is allowed to come to the college premises, without prior permission of Warden.
10. Students must follow the timings of there mess, T.V, study hour, and game. Hostel lights must be switched off at 11:00 p.m.
11. All the boarders are expected to keep their rooms, verandas, bathrooms and hostel surrounding clean. They should use the trash cans for this purpose. Clean bed sheets should be used in the rooms.
12. The monthly mess fee will be paid in advance. How ever, if the college remains closed or open for a week or more, the increase/decrease in mess fee will be made on weekly basis accordingly.
13. Boarders are not allowed to run independent mess in any case.
14. Student’s guests are not allowed.
15. No boarder is allowed to have cassette player, T.V or V.C.R in the hostel. Any body disobeying these rules will be fined and in extreme cases can be struck off from the hostel /college roll.
16. The name, address and contact number of nearest local relative must be mentioned in hostel admission form for emergency contact and correspondence.
17. In case of sickness, the boarder has to submit the leave application to the Principal after obtaining the approval of the Warden.
18. In case of emergency, the boarder has to obtain leave from the Principal as well as from the Warden on separate application.
19. Mobile phone is not allowed. If one is found with any student, she will be struck off from the college roll and fined Rs. 1000/- (day scholars as well as boarders).
