Admission Rules

Introduction

  1. Admission starts on the date announced by the admission committee and continue according to the schedule of BISE / Frontier Women University.
  2. Late admission cases are dealt with strictly in accordance with BISE / University rules or until such a date is fixed by the Principal.
  3. 88% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit, 5% on sports basis and 5% ineach faculty (Science & Arts) is reserved for the children of employees in the Education Department.
  4. 2% quota is reserved for disable candidates. Medical certificate is to be produced at the time of admission.
  5. Only those candidates are eligible for admission who have passed their last annual or preceding supplementary examination of the Board.
  6. Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects are not allowed to take admission in the Part-I of any class.
  7. Candidates placed in “E” grade in S.S.C. Or securing 3rd division in the intermediate level are not allowed to take admission in the Inter and Degree classes, respectively.
  8. The upper age limit at the time of admission is 19 years for 1st year and 22 years for 3rd year, the upper age limit, however, does not apply to persons with at least 2 years servicein Government or Semi Government departments who have obtained proper leave from the heads of their department for the purpose.
  9. Candidates passing in the succeeding supplementary examination shall not be eligible for admission in the same academic year.
  10. Candidates who are residents of the area are given preference. Other candidates having genuine reasons such as residence/service of parents in the area or when vacant seats exist in the College, are also eligible for admission on merit basis. In addition 10% quota is reserved for candidates of other area who have passed their S.S.C. /Inter examination in “A1” or “A” grade.
  11. Candidates who have passed their S.S.C Examination from schools in District Peshawar arealso eligible for admission.
  12. Candidates belonging to boards other than BISE Mardan are to produce Migration Certificate along with their admission forms.
  13. Cases of the candidates including in any gross misconduct, political, illegal or criminal activities during their school or college period shall not be considered for admission at all. The student, whose character during the Intermediate (Part-I or Part-II) and Part-I of Degree classes was found unsatisfactory, shall not be given admission in the Part-II of Intermediate and Part-I or Part-II of the Degree Classes.
  14. Candidates are required to produce an affidavit (copy enclosed) as an undertaking typed on a stamp paper and duly attested by the competent authority at the time of interview for admission filled by the candidate.
  15. All foreigner students desirous of admission have to route their forms through the Ministry of Education Islamabad.
  16. The following must be attached with the Admission Forms.
    1. Attested coy of D.M.C (S.S.C /Intermediate).
    2. Attested copy of Character Certificate issued by the Head of the Educational Institution last attended. For Private students Character Certificate must be signed by a Class-I gazetted officer.
    3. Attested copy of Domicile Certificate. (Can be produced at the time of admission)
    4. Attested copy of N.I.C of the Parent /Guardian.
    5. Attested copy of Provisional Certificate (School / College).
  17. If a student applies for late admission, she has to produce an affidavit that she has not been admitted to any college previously and that she is availing the opportunity of admission for the first time. However, such cases shall be processed according to the rules.
  18. Hafiz-e-Quran will be awarded 20extra marks.
  19. The candidates late in submission of their application form i.e. within the given dates or failing to appear for interview / test on the notified date shall not claim any right for admission. It is the responsibility of the candidates to keep themselves informed of the date of interview, admission, etc. Individual catering is not possible for the college.
  20. In all cases where these regulations are silent or where there is difference of opinion about their interpretation, the decision of the Principal shall be final.

Note:

Students of F.A /F.Sc-I & II are strictly directed by the Director Higher Education to attend their classes by 30the March of each year. Forms of all those students who failed to attend their classes for the prescribed period will be taken back from their respective Boards.

Admission of such students will stand cancelled after 7 days, continuous absentee. These students will have the right to re-admission within 15 days. After that the student will have no claim to admission. The same rules will be applicable to students of Degree Classes also.
