Introduction

= The College offers different subjects of Arts and Science at Intermediate and Degree levels. The detail of these subjects is given below.

At Intermediate level the following subjects are compulsory.

1.English

2.Islamiat (Part-I)

3.Pakistan Studies (Part-II)

4.Urdu

• Pre-Medical group contains the following subjects, along with compulsory subjects.
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
• Pre-Engineering group contains the following subjects along with compulsory subjects. For admission in this group the students should have at least 60% marks in Mathematics.
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
• General Science/Computer Science group contains subjects which have been divided into the following groups. For admission in this group students must have secured at least 60% marks in mathematics.
  • Mathematics – Statistics – Computer Science
  • Mathematics – Physics – Computer Science
  • Mathematics - Economics – Statistics (General Science Group)

• Arts Group contains subjects which have been divided into the following group. The students have to choose a group.
  • Urdu Advance – Civics – Home Economics
  • Urdu Advance – H.P.E – Economics
  • Home Economics – Psychology – Economics
  • Civics – Geography – Statistics
  • Psychology – Statistics – Urdu Advance
  • Islamic studies – Home Economics – Islamic History
  • Islamic Studies – H.P.E – Islamic History
  • Islamic Studies – Statistics – Psychology
  • Islamic History – Civics – H.P.E

  • Degree Classes:

    Arts Group (B.A)

    In Arts Group the following subjects are compulsory

    1.English

    2.Islamiat (Part-I)

    3.Pakistan Studies (Part-II)

    For elective subjects the students have to choose any one of the following group.

  • Urdu Advance – Home Economics
  • Economics – Statistics
  • Psychology – Statistics
  • Political Science – Law
  • Home Economics – Islamiat Elective
  • Political Science – Urdu Advance
  • Islamiat – Law

  • B.Sc:

    For B.Sc one subject is compulsory and three are elective. The compulsory subject in Part-I isIslamiat and in Part-II is Pakistan Studies.

    Physical Science Group:

    In this group the students have to choose one group for the choice of their elective subjects.

    1.Mathematics A – Physics – Statistics

    2.Mathematics A – Physics – Chemistry

    Note: For admission in this group the students must have secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics in F.Sc.

    B.Sc (Biological Science Group)

    In this group the students have to choose one of the following group for their elective subjects.

    1.Chemistry - Botany – Zoology

    2.Botany – Zoology – Geography

    3.Botany – Zoology – Statistics

    4.Chemistry – Botany – Statistics

    B.Sc (Computer Science Group)

    1.Computer Science – Physics – Maths (A)

    2.Computer Science – Statistics – Maths (A)

    Subject change

    As there are limited seats in elective subjects, therefore the students are advised to be careful in the choice of their subjects.

    Subjects can be changed only through Board and it is possible only when seats are available in the respective subjects.

    Change of Faculty is not allowed.
