Seats Allocation
College Jurisdiction and seat Distribution.
A.
For Intermediate part-1 / Ist: Year Admission are awarded on the basis of the following allocations.
i. Eighteen percent (18%)of the total number of seats are resereved for candidates belonging to the jurisdictional area of the college as defined by the college administration.
A Candidate shall be defined belonging to the jurisdictional area of the college if she:
ii. Sixty percent ( 60%) of the total number of seats are reserved for local candidates of the area in which the college is situated.
A candidate is defined local to a college if she.
iii. 10% seats are reserved for candidates of areas other than district Mardan provided they have obtained A1 or A Grade in the last examination passed.
iv. Five percent (5%) seats at each level are reserved for the children of the employees of the Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(college subsector ) on provincial basis
v. Two percent (2%) seats are reserved for disabled candidates on provincial basis.
vi. Five percent (5%) seats are reserved for sports quota on provincial basis. These seats are reserved only for the games which are available and offered by the college.
vii. Seats falling vacant under any quota as defined under rule A (ii,iii,iv,v,vi) shall be allocated to quota for candidates as defined under rule A(i).
B. In case of admission to the Post Graduate or BS classes, the following seats distribution for each subject in case of 40 admission seats per class shall be observed by each college and shall offer admisison to the following on the basis of their respective merit.

One seat in each faculty over and above the allocated total seats is reserved for Afghan refugees. However, such candidates shall submit their application through proper channel.
15. Twenty extra marks are awarded to Hifiz-e-Quran. Such candidates shall not only support their claim by the relevant certificates but they shall also have to pass the recitation test conducted by the relevant admission committee.
16. Five marks per year/sesson shall be deducted from the obtained marks of a candidate who has passed the last examination in the previous year(s)/Session(s). However no such deduction shall be made from a candidate who has passed in the last examination in the supplementary session of the immediate preceeding year. Such procedure shall be limited for the candidates who failed to get admission during the previous three consecutive years/Sessions.Candidates whose passing year of the last exaination is more than three years back shall not be put on the merit list. However, if vacant seat exist after absorption of all the candidates on the merit list. Then such candidates may be provided the opportunity of admission on merit.
17. Merit List of Sports quota for the game(s) the facility for which is available in the college will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in sports, which will be measured as below.
i. Previous Participation Marks. 35
SSC HSSC
Note:- Candidate having more than one of the above certificate shall be awarded marks of only the highest certificate that she has.
ii. Trial marks 65
18. Upper age Limit
i. Their shall be no upper age limit for female candidates except under sports quota.
ii. For admisison on sports quota maximum age shall be considered one year less than the prescribed age limit. the candidates admitted on sports quota are elibigle to participate i the Board/University tournmant.
